Elderly Man Evicted From Rehab Facility Left In Cold Rain: Report
In our busy lives, we can’t help but depend on others to care for our elderly or young ones so we can go about our daily routine. However, how would you feel if the people you trusted let you down? This is what happened to Maxine Rozzelle when her 78-year-old wheelchair-bound dad was left in her driveway after being abruptly discharged by their nursing facility. What irked her was that they left her dad in the cold without neither a coat nor shoes on. The Charlotte Health and Rehabilitation Center is said to have organized a transport service to send home the elderly man because of insurance issues.The incident Thursday occurred after Maxine Rozzelle received a call from Charlotte Health and Rehabilitation Center telling her that, due to an insurance issue, her father would have to leave the facility immediately, according to WSOC. The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is located at 420 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina and opened its doors to the public on January 2, 2010.
